Right – we’ve got the utterly ace My Tiger My Timing down for this. Formed in New Cross five years ago, the band have been slowly growing their post-punk sound into the super-catchy but addictively propulsive style of their debut album “Celeste”, which came out this summer. Described by NME as “tribal electro like a south London Gang Gang Dance”, the band take pop harmonies and melodies and smash them into disco-punk structures to stunning effect.

Next up, new Bomb Shop friends Flying Ibex play their first gig with us. The South London three piece exercise a level control over their sound we haven’t heard for a long time, and their poly-rhythmic tropical/dub/afro/indie mesh is a thing of beauty! We’re expecting really, really great things from these guys – watch this space for their first cassette EP and day now.

Finally, Rough Fields bring the glory of their live-looping, chaos-bordering, bass-firing lo-fi sound to the lineup with their first gig north of the river for some time.

DJs and stuff TBC, Friday off work? yeah, go on then.
